Task Force Purpose

The SACSCOC Accreditation Task Force will focus on developing the prospectus to be submitted for approval by SACSCOC as outlined in SACSCOC guidelines and via its substantive change approval process. The Task Force will oversee the gathering and alignment on requirements needed for SACSCOC accreditation, prospectus writing, delivery of key documents to SACSCOC, new entity mission development, and SACSCOC’s substantive change committee report and preparation for the committee site visit.

Task Force Updates

Members continue to focus on finalizing a prospectus for submission by late February. Notably, the UT System Board of Regents has approved the mission statement, marking a key milestone.

Based on positive feedback on our new, combined mission statement through each institution's shared governance process, the university will now present the statement to the UT System Board of Regents for approval at their next board meeting on November 20.

Members are presenting our new, combined mission statement through each institution's shared governance process and continually developing the prospectus for approval by the UT System Board of Regents and SACSCOC’s Board of Trustees.
