Voices of Support

Our Mission Statement

One of the first steps in our integration process was to develop a new, joint mission statement. The new statement was approved by the UT System Board of Regents in November and will be submitted by March 2025 to receive approval from the SACSCOC Board of Trustees at its June 2025 meeting. The proposed integrated mission statement blends core elements from both institutional statements. This statement will guide our shared vision of becoming a globally preeminent university.
